Job Description

Production Quality Inspector – StocksbridgeClemence Rogers are currently recruiting for a PDI to be based in Stocksbridge.Role Type: Temporary to Permanent Salary: £12phLocation: StocksbridgeHours: Mon to Thur - 0730am to 1700pm Fri – 0800am to 1230pmResponsibilities

  • Preparation and release of goods that have met and satisfied the contract requirements.
  • Establish quality standards and process for each work centre and ensure standards and process are adhered to
  • Inspect products to customer specification and technical drawings.
  • Comply with all relevant systems that are in operation.
  • Maintain good working practices and housekeeping
  • Perform quality inspections and establish clear work instructions.
  • Produce non-conformance reports and conduct full root cause analysis.
  • Work in accordance with the quality procedures pertaining to the specific department.
  • Ensure that required documentation is available at the production stations prior to any inspection operation.
  • Carry out inspections according to instructions.
  • Control reworks and rejects and ensure records are up to date.
  • Ensure that records are kept up to date and stored/filed accordingly.
  • Perform all activities in accordance with the quality requirements of the position and adhere to all company quality policies, procedures and standards, as applicable.
  • Follow and adhere to all safety procedures and standards of the company.
  • Experience / Skills
  • Strong experience of quality inspection experience within a similar manufacturing environment, vehicle conversions industry would be preferred.
  • Highly skilled at reading engineering drawings & solving complex problems.
  • Experience using and maintaining a range of gauges, hand tools and inspection equipment is essential
  • Good ICT skills are required for this role
  • Good communication skills are key and the ability to present solutions to colleagues and customers.
  • A team player willing to work in both an office environment and on the shop floor
  • Flexible approach to work.
