Job Description

Business Development Manager - £25k, OTE 40k, StocksbridgeOur client is looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager in the Automotive Sector to be based at their site near Sheffield. In this new position, you will be responsible for establishing and growing an existing and new customer database, achieving departmental KPIs and exceed customers expectations. Reporting into the MD we are looking for someone who is driven and ready to immerse themselves into a rapidly growing business selling automotive products. In return you will receive thefollowing benefits:Benefits: £25,000 Salary, bonus scheme, 28 days holiday including bank holidays , pension scheme, hours of work are Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00.As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Driving sales, in both existing sectors as well as new identified growth areas
  • Identifying and generating new profitable sales opportunities and routes to market within the portfolio of products and drive strong sales results
  • Exceed monthly, quarterly, annual revenue targets and other critical success metrics
  • Grow the revenue base via new business sales, up sell and cross sell
  • Build and leverage a strong network of commercial relationships
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
As the Business Development Manager you will have the following:
  • Have extensive experience developing new/existing clients and the planning strategy around it
  • Be experienced in cold calling
  • Be strategic and highly commercial in order to build business case in cooperation with our customers.
  • Have a successful track record in selling new products
  • Be articulate and assertive, able to motivate and encourage others with a natural confidence to influence and persuade customers at all levels
