Job Description

One to One Teaching Assistant - September StartAre you an experienced ASC Specialist looking for your next opportunity in September Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a nurturing and firm TA to work 1:1 with a child in KS1 on a part-time basis.Tradewind are recruiting for an SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream Primary school central to Stockport. The position is part-time, working 2 or 3 days a week on a 1:1 basis with a student in Year 2, therefore knowledge of the curriculum andin particular phonics would be advantageous. You will be working with the class teacher to develop their speech and language skills, and supervising the student outside, so being physically active is a bonus. Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, withthe daily rate in the region of £70 - £77 per day.Your duties might include:

  • Supporting and managing a pupil with autistic traits, mainly on a 1:1 basis
  • Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
  • Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn
