Job Description

Project Manager Stockport£ Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits My client is an established manufacturing business with a site in the Stockport area, looking to appoint a Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business with a range of high-profile customers and you will play a key part in business transformation/business improvement in order to ensure they can meet the business current and future needs. You willwork Monday to Friday, hybrid working (3 days in the office per week), with flexible working hours.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely project delivery within allocated budgets and quality benchmarks, meeting specified standards.
  • Work on various projects spanning different business functions including IT, HR, QSHE, Logistics & Sales.
  • Engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders, both internal & external.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to plan project resource allocation and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying, and escalating issues while managing risks and adhering to project management practices and standards.
  • Reporting of project status, including performance vs targets and highlighting the benefits/ impact of projects delivered.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, including suppliers and contractors, to optimise their contributions to project goals.
  • Manage project documentation meticulously, including Business Case and Project Plans, aligning them with project objectives and scope.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven track record working as Project Manager, with PRINCE2 or equivalent qualification is essential for the role.
  • Experience working in a variety of business improvement projects across different business departments.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with proven ability to work effectively to tight deadlines.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with history of overcoming challenges adeptly and tactfully.
  • Ability to engage with the team and wider stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written & verbal, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
