In the subsequent two years the Group has achieved its initial merger aspirations and is now extending and expanding (doubling) its new homes programmeacross a range of tenures and locations. It currently owns and manages more than 12,000 homes in central, south and east ManchesterWere looking for someone who can lead on the mobilisation and delivery of an ambitious Green Employment and Skills Programme. You will be responsible for delivering a highprofile government programme ensuring positive outcomes are delivered on time.With an excellent understanding of skills, employment and growth strategies and trends within Greater Manchester, in particular the opportunities presented in relation to "Green" and Carbon Zero jobs, and an understanding of the principles of inclusive growth,you will have an understanding of the barriers faced by both employers and employees in developing and sustaining jobs within the green economy, and how they can be overcome. Youll have in-depth knowledge of existing employment and skills programmes suchas those funded by ESF, DWP, and emerging new programmes and you must have experience of leading cross sector partnership programmes involving public, private and VCSE partners.
