Job Description

The Role: Senior Quant AnalystWe are seeking a Senior Quant Analyst with the right blend of data exploration, machine learning, stats & maths and financial markets knowledge to help build a workbench that enables creating bespoke solutions for our clients. There will be significant focus on working in a cross-functional team of other technologists, experience designers, investment professionals and proposition experts within the Innovation Hub as well as wider business. It is expected that the role holder willwork closely with our FinTech partners. Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Developing AI assisted portfolio construction capabilities to deliver personlised portfolio for retail investors.
  • Shape and design the portfolio composition workbench which allows investment professionals to develop and manage new solution components - from concept to reality; iteratively.
  • Ability to juggle multiple deliverables from various stakeholders and being able to keep track of the end-to-end pattern as well as driving the prioritisation which comes with stakeholder management.
  • Take abstract ideas and turn these into a tangible end-to-end solution accompanied by a delivery plan and along the way creating buy-in for the ideas you are putting on display.
  • Build and maintain a strong network with key stakeholders across the business.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Strong data exploration and machine learning skills, which also includes stats & maths knowledge, proficient in various programming languages to derive insights from large data sets (e.g., Python, R, Matlab, SQL).
  • Passion for constant learning with demonstrable experience in building solutions based on learning from emerging trends in the financial services
  • Understanding of financial markets and in particular econometrics concepts.
  • Ability to do deep dive analysis into a wide variety of asset classes and associated analytics (e.g., Equity, Fixed Income, Private Assets etc.).
  • Extensive experience managing stakeholders
  • Substantial experience (5+ years) within Financial Markets, specifically within asset management and wealth management.
  • Proactive self-starter who can prioritise and manage their own workload with a solution focused mindset.
