Proposition Manager - Individual Products The Role: 12 month FTCLocation: HybridThe role of the Propositions team is to make sure that our propositions remain appropriate for their target market and deliver the promised outcomes throughout the customer journey. In order to do that we need to understand and deliver good outcomes to customersin line with legislative and regulatory requirements, while delivering a customer experience that is valued. We need a high performing Propositions Manager with experience of developing and managing life and pensions propositions with experience in managingheritage products an advantage but not essential. The successful applicant will support a wide range of projects. In addition the role will also require the candidate to be involved with a number of business as usual activities including resolution of product review actions and reviewing our literature toensure they accurately describe our propositions. The Propositions team is made up of subject matter experts with extensive knowledge of M&Gs insured propositions and a deep understanding of the legislative, regulatory and tax framework within which the products are operated. The Individual Products teamhas primary responsibility for the for ensuring that our propositions are sold to their target market and provide our advisers and their customers with market leading propositions. The successful candidate will join the Individual Products team (part of the Propositions area) which is responsible for the management and development of a wide product range within M&G but primarily focused on pensions and/or onshore bonds. Experience inother product ranges including equity release and protection desirable but not essential. This role requires an experienced product/commercial manager with the following capabilities:

• Deep understanding of individual pension and/or onshore bond products
• Deep understanding of retirement income market including annuities
• Experience in managing existing Propositions including review of literature, resolving product review actions and assisting key stakeholders within the business
• Experience in developing existing products or new products in line with changing regulation and customer needs

The following capabilities would be desirable:

• Knowledge of the UK platform market
• Knowledge of the UK protection market
