Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are working with a client based on the outskirts of Peterborough to recruit for a Warehouse Operative on a permanent basis.Being part of a small team you would key to the operational function of our client. The role would be looking at parts orders, scanning them from the warehouse as part of stock control, readying them for dispatch and then updating the inventory on excel.The role:- - Utilising our clients in house database and also excel spreadsheets to monitor stock and update orders - Using a hand held scanner on bar codes to log the parts you are shipping - Packing parts ready for despatch with the appropriate labelling - Communicating with internal departments on issues with orders and stock problems - Communicating with third party couriers on dispatching itemsThe person:- - Be a confident user of microsoft packages, specifically excel - Be able to work with hand held scanners - Have experience of working in a warehouse environment - Be a good team player whilst also being able to take own initiative - Have your own transport due to the remote location of the roleWhats on Offer:- - Salary of £21840 PA - initially working 12 weeks via Interaction Recruitment - Working hours are Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5pm - Opportunity to be part of a growing business - On site parkingTo apply for this role please send your CV to
