Role - Lead EngineerPackage - £40k per Annum, plus Car, Laptop, PhoneLocation - PeterboroughThe BusinessHere at MorePeople we specialise in all things food. From the growers, distributers, processors and manufacturers, and equipment manufacturers, we cover every aspect of getting food from the fields to your table.We are currently recruiting for the industry leader who specialises in the design and manufacturer of production equipment for the Food, Beverage and Process industries. Supplying worldwide, their machines are found in some of the biggest household namein the world of Food Manufacturing. Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking for a Lead Engineer to join their established team.The RoleThe Lead Engineer will be assisting their customers in troubleshooting Operational and Maintenance issues they may be facing. The position is mainly office based out of their Offices near Peterborough, however there would be occasions where the Lead Engineerwould need to visit a customers site to assist with a diagnosis.The Lead Engineer will have the ability to remotely log into a customers machine to help with the diagnosis. A Laptop will also be provided to do onsite diagnosis. Any Maintenance issues identified would not be dealt with by the Technical Support Engineer,but rather a Service Report drawn up for their Service Engineers to follow up on or the Customers own Maintenance Team.As well as Technical Support, all the Machines require a 12 Month Inspection to ensure they are calibrated correctly, operating as prescribed, and have no electrical, mechanical or control faults. This would require the Technical Support Engineer to visitcustomers sites and depending on the number of machines the customer has, it could mean staying overnight.The CandidateThe Business are looking for a candidate with the following skills, background and knowledge:
