Job Description

MS440 -Domestic GasEngineerLocation:Stepney Green, London (covering sites all over London)Salary:£38,000 - £44,000 per annum DOE + vanOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking aDomestic Gas Engineeron behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the servicing and repair of boilers.
  • Carry out some heating installations.
  • Carrying out repairs of heating systems.
  • Maintenance & fault finding of heating systems.
  • Maintain a high level of quality customer services.
  • Test gas systems for safety and efficiency.
  • Carry out inspections of gas systems and appliances.
  • Keep accurate records of all work carried out.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Have a Clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
  • The Domestic Gas Engineer must hold their ACS domestic gas qualifications, includingCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of heating control systems, control panels.
  • Able to read and understand drawings and specifications.
