Job Description

Warehouse ManagerKeighley £30,000 - £40,000Perks; Great opportunity to progress within an ever growing company.We are on the lookout for a special superstar who has the ambition and drive to contribute towards a UK family run expanding Leather merchant business, taking on the role of a Warehouse Manager. The company is in the process of a rebrand and developing anew software that will be implemented within the next 6 months with the goal to establish the organisation. We would love someone who can share the vision of working towards the goal of becoming a market leader. In return you will get the opportunity for careerprogression and self-development opportunities!Due to continued growth they are looking for a self-motivated individual to join their small team on a full time permanent basis.As a Warehouse Manager, you will have the prime responsibility to efficiently manage all aspects of the warehouse operation in line with service level standards and warehouse control management. This opportunity will grant you the role of leading and influencinga team capable of high performance and continuous efficiency improvement. The successful candidate will oversee the warehouses daily operations, including supervising budgets, stock control and fulfilling orders to the highest standards.The opportunity unlocks the chance to make a significant difference to a growing dynamic company.The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 17:00pm & Friday 8:30am-4:00pm, there is also free on-site parking available for those who drive.Role Responsibilities

  • Maintaining computerised administration, stock inventory and retrieval systems.
  • Undertake prompt corrective action to prevent the repetition of adverse conditions that can affect product quality.
  • Liaise with the Sales Director to ensure good customer service both internally and externally.
  • Managing staff, building teams, training employees and monitoring production performance, ensuring that all despatch disciplines and good housekeeping are maintained.
  • Liaise via telephone & email with courier and transport companies to organise, and track deliveries where necessary ensuring goods arrive at the intended destination, within specified time limits.
  • Manage and respond to any complaints or grievances received from customers.
  • Consolidate and strengthen the relationship with the customer, and normally an opportunity to extend the length of the contract.
Skills & Qualities we are looking for
  • Desirable previous leather knowledge/experience
  • CounterBalance forklift certificate, preferred but not essential
  • Full UK driving license
  • 5+ years management experience
  • Good problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and positive individual.
  • Effectively works well as a team
