Our Operating Theatre Department have an exciting opportunity to join our well established theatre team as a full / part time Band 2 Perioperative Care Assistant.Are you that staff member who will enhance the enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate teams who are ready and waiting to step up to the future exciting challenges of the theatre environment We would like you to join us in delivering the highest standards of care in a well-equipped, safe environment with Our ‘Right Care’ behaviours of compassion, a commitment to quality of care and working together for patients as a priority.This comes at a time when we are currently expanding our 8 operating theatres with a £9.2 million state of the art additional 3 theatre new build investing in the service provision to our community. Our specialties include Ophthalmology, General Surgery, ENT, Gynecology, Urology, Maxilla-facial, elective Orthopedics, Acutes & trauma, Obstetrics and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit.We want to employ forward thinking, motivated and dedicated staff who are seeking a career in perioperative nursing through the ODP Apprenticeship scheme or Nursing pathway and have the aspiration and motivation to work in this complex environment. Our commitment to staffs Continuous professional development in knowledge and skills will provide a varied yet rewarding career in the perioperative environment. You may already have experience in this role.This is a 2 year Fixed term training post with academic collaborative working with Keighley College. On successful completion of training a permanent position will be offered to the candidate.
