Come and join the Team - see what difference you can make.Job Overview:A great opportunity has arisen within Logistics Planning, working as part of a small team but having a big impact! Effectively managing resource allocation to ensure the smooth running and performance of the Logistics operation: optimisation, efficiency and productivity are key words in this role.Utilising your experience of supporting performance and budget management, you’ll work with the management team and report on productivity data, forecasting demand schedules as well as highlighting opportunities where improvements can be made.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and report; process / technology /productivity data and maintain the accuracy of operational & commercially valuable management information.
  • Workforce resource planning ; calculating hours and resource needed, scheduling the workforce to the right place at the right time by analysing performance data.
  • Analyse report on operational performance targets, forecast future demand through analysis of past performance.
  • Provide analysis on productivity figures and identify opportunities to support the Logistics distribution budgeting process.
  • Build effective working relationships within the department and wider supply chain: effective communication to share information, highlight issues and support plans for developments.
  • Work on defined projects to deliver short and mid term company objectives and ensure that all budgetary targets are met.
    • Skills and Experience:Previous experience of working within a complex planning environment (preferably using planning systems), and ideally within an integrated supply chain environmentExcellent planning and organisation skillsMicrosoft office including excel essentialExcellent communication skills with the ability to develop good working relationships, with both internal and external customers at all levels.As well as a rewarding career with learning and development opportunities, Damartcolleagues also receive:
