The Employee Health and Wellbeing team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical leader to join our team. The health and wellbeing of our people at Airedale is at the heart of everything we do and we have a clear focus on supporting colleagues throughout their employment with the Trust.A key part of our focus on wellbeing is our Employee Health and Wellbeing team, we provide core occupational health services to Trust colleagues and AGH Solutions colleagues, in addition to a number of external clients. We are a nurse led service; the clinical team comprises of Nurse Advisors supported by Physicians. Working with the administration team our main priority is to create a dynamic approach to maximise employee health and wellness at work.We are seeking a Lead Nurse for our valued in-house service to build on past success, further develop the service to meet the needs of our diverse employee populations and take an active role in regional and national sustainability, transformation and streamlining initiatives.You will be responsible for delivery of occupational health services, working with our physicians and the wider team to ensure effective and appropriate provision of outstanding services with an eye on quality for our customers. You will be able to demonstrate the managerial and clinical leadership skills necessary and identify strategic direction to promote health and wellbeing improvement through evidence-based policies, procedures and expert professional practice as an occupational health practitioner. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships and influence at a senior level and with external stakeholders as well as with individual service users.The successful candidate will have secure knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, standards, professional practice and clinical governance to enable delivery of a safe, effective and high quality occupational health service with a focus on quality improvement, in compliance with legislative requirements and guided by national standards, that proactively supports the health and wellbeing of employees, organisational and departmental strategic objectives, and regional collaborative working.
