Job Description

Gray Recruitment are looking for a skilled Warehouse Operative/ Technician for a client north of Royston.Your main duties as a Warehouse Operative/ Technician will be:

Assist with returned goods (following process from receipt, documenting, putting in quarantine, testing (training will be provided), reworking or putting into stock as required)

Project returns, make sure shipments are packaged and labelled properly and transferred to correct storage location as required

Undertake rework of products as needed (following a process/document)

Assembly of some stock lines

Chair assembly and part picking as required

Assist warehouse manager as needed with putting away deliveries and stock control

General housekeeping in the warehouse

Your main skills as a Warehouse Operative/ Technician will be:

Good attention to detail

Hand-eye coordination

Problem solving skills

Initiative

Good communication

Prioritisation skills

Ability to work on own or in small team

Some heavy lifting

Knowledge of Outlook and Excel

Electrical knowledge advantageous but not essential.This role will be to start in January and interviews taking place next week.
