Have you got at least five years experience in a multi-skilled manufacturing/service environment or similarHave you got experience of electro-mechanical machinery, motion systems, electrical circuits, pneumatics and complex software and control applicationsIf so this could be the role for you!An exciting opportunity exists to join a dynamic technology and manufacturing business based near Royston, Hertfordshire.Cheyney Design & Development Ltd., designs systems, modules and software for automatic, in process and end of line x-ray inspection. These are incorporated into Sapphire Inspection System products and are also sold globally to major food, pharmaceuticaland process equipment suppliersWe are looking for a Customer Service Field Engineer to provide technical support to our customer installation base and to our Channel partners globally. This role would primarily encompass the planning, installation, remote and site diagnostics, repairand support of a range of x-ray inspection equipment. It is a national role with some limited international travel required as and when, supporting channel partners and some special equipment customers. However, for 25-35% it will be based in our head officein Litlington.This exciting role offers a wide range of responsibilities in company that offers great variety and is enjoying aggressive growth.We would love to hear from you if you:

Have at least five years experience in a multi-skilled manufacturing/service environment or similar, preferably with X-ray inspection experience although not essential.
Have proven experience in vision inspection, food production and packaging or pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment may be beneficial.
Have experience of electro-mechanical machinery, motion systems, electrical circuits, pneumatics and complex software and control applications.
Have experience of fault diagnosis using a DVM and Oscilloscope
Are HNC / HND qualified or similar in electromechanical engineering.
