Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor West Midlands Monday - Thursday 8.30 am - 5:00 pm /8.30 am - 4:00 pm Friday Fancy a chance of working alongside a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyors to develop your careerA leading national Building Services Contractor are currently recruiting for a Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor based out of their South Birmingham office due to the companys on-going expansion plans and growth strategy. They have already secured a range of commercial projects that run until 2023.Duties and Responsibilities:This position is for someone who has experience as a Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor • Assist the Senior M&E Surveyor / M&E Commercial Manager with:• Monthly reports e.g. cost and value comparisons, turnover forecasts etc. Ensuring information is complete and accurate Involvement with monthly reporting• Cost forecasting for projects undertaken• Playing a supporting role in pre-tender stage• Valuing and managing variations• Programme management• Working on projects up to £25M M&E value Requirements:• You will previously have worked in the Building Services industry as M&E Quantity Surveyor, Junior Quantity Surveyor, Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor, Trainee Quantity Surveyor, Trainee M&E Quantity Surveyor, Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor • Commercial or Industrial experience • It would be desirable if you have Mechanical or Electrical or Quantity Surveyor qualifications such as HNC, HND, or equivalent qualifications In return• The role as on a permanent basis with regular salary reviews• Development for your career • A chance to work on large scale projects • On site parking •£25000- £35000 DOE Per annum + package (Car or car Allowance)Referral incentive:If you know of anyone who you feel maybe suitable for this role, we would welcome a personal or professional referral.
