You can be home based or Nottingham office based or a mixture - flexible.The RoleManage the delivery of a coherent and impactful professional learning offerLead the development of new products and programmesOversee the successful adoption of a learning management systemKey ResponsibilitiesManaging the successful delivery of professional learning offer for the executiveand governance leaders in the education sectorEnsuring a good learning experience for every participant through programme design that aligns with theory, guidance and values, collaboration with expert delivery partners, the development of quality learning materials and an effective quality assuranceprocess.Managing budgets to meet income and profit targets and reporting on performance.Measuring participant satisfaction and using feedback to continuously improve services.Hosting and delivering learning programmes online and in person as appropriate.Working with colleagues in marketing, membership and policy to support the recruitment and onboarding of participants.Using market knowledge and insight from and its members to identify newopportunities to grow professional learning offer.Developing new programmes, features and services that meet market needs.Leading the implementation of a learning management system and designing the new processes and activities to support its adoption.Staying up-to date with developments in professional learning design, technologies and best practice.Managing the work of the Professional Communities Officer and supporting their professional development.Positively promoting and its subsidiaries Professional DevelopmentPerson SpecificationYou will bring proven experience of managing and developing professional development services, ideally gained within the education, membership of governance sectors.Knowledgeable about the effective design and delivery of professional development.Quality-focused, capable of overseeing successful services and projects.People-centred, adept at forming and maintaining positive relationships with direct reports, staff of all levels, and external stakeholders.Data driven, with a relentless focus on monitoring impact and setting and hitting ambitious targets.Experienced in commissioning and briefing trainers and course leaders and developing syllabuses and learning materials.A strong, clear communicator, verbally and in writing.Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.Skilled in scheduling and delegation.Proficient in record keeping and reporting.An excellent leader, nurturing staff to have agency and deliver high-quality work at pace.Reliable, flexible and adaptable.Committed to ongoing development of yourself and your team.To apply to this role of Head of Learning please send your CVDue to the volume of applications we are only able to contact successful applicants.
