Job Description

A national organisation based in Colchester is looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing internal IT operations team taking a lead on a variety of projects and supporting the business with any 3rd line related issues.As IT Infrastructure Engineer you will deliver IT Infrastructure, Network and server projects and manage the day to day operations of the IT infrastructure. Youll be working with a small team implementing and managing the infrastructure to ensure the coreIT across all sites of the organisation is stable and is developed according to the needs of the business.Responsibilities:

Support and maintain core infrastructure.
Complete daily check, project reporting and BAU Support.
Resolve complex technical faults maximising the use of any resource available.
Develop an understanding of the businesses Network, Telecoms & IT systems sufficiently well to be able to advise users on any problems encountered.
Successfully deliver Infrastructure projects.
Carry out any other IT support and implementation duties as directed by the Head of IT.
To manage infrastructure in accordance with industry best practice.

Key Experience:

Windows Server experience
Windows Desktop
Office 365 experience
Microsoft Azure
Virtualization experience (VMware or Hyper-V)
