£30-35k Depending on skills and experience + Business use of company vanPermanent, 37 hours per weekLocation: You will be working within the Anglian Water region covering areas around Colchester and BraintreeAre you looking for an exciting and rewarding career, at a company committed to investing in your training and developmentJoin us for the opportunity to gain valuable skills, qualifications and experience, whilst being part of a company dedicated to building a sustainable future.This team-oriented position will see you joining one of our Water Services Teams where you will ensure that the water supply process delivers wholesome drinking water to our customers.Youll be responsible for the keeping all kinds of equipment at out Water Treatment Works operating correctly and reliably, youll be enthusiastic about carrying out planned maintenance and responding promptly to issues and incidents.Your electrical knowledge will enable you to be responsible for the day-to-day operation of water supply assets - including water treatment works, reservoirs, towers and pumping stations.What does it take to be an Electrical Asset TechnicianYour ability to learn quickly and use your own initiative to solve problems is essential for this role and you will train alongside an experienced Technician to ensure you gain all the skills and knowledge required. You will have completed an apprenticeship,NVQ Level 3 and have a relevant electrical qualification.Youll need a flexible approach to working hours as you will be required to take part in a standby rota.To be able to undertake your standby duties you will need to live within the surrounding/neighbouring areas of Braintree, Colchester, Ipswich, Sudburyor Haverhill.As a valued employee, youll be entitled to:
