Today,by integrating traditional qualities of craftmanship with cutting edge innovation and product development, our client is positioned for further growth in global markets.Key to the delivery of the planned growth is the appointment of a highly skilled and professional Key Account Development Manager, tasked with the development of the clients business within the key Protectives market. Working mainly with established garmentpartners, both in the UK and abroad, you will take responsibility for achieving sales revenue and margin targets for PPE related products for the Fire, Police, Military and Industrial sectors. Hands-on, you will manage client relationships both directly andthrough your small team, building partnership-led relationships and leveraging goodwill and reputation established over many years. In particular, you will execute growth plans in target international markets, contributing directly to the business growth plan.Job Title: Key Account Development Manager Location: West Yorkshire Reports to: Commercial Director Reports in: Development Execs x2 (UK / EUR)Package: Excellent salary plus car allowance, performance-related bonus & benefitsKey Responsibilities:

  • Develop UK & International partner relationships to maximise revenue & margin in target markets
  • Lead your team in ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained with garment partners
  • Develop Market Sales Plans and execute strategies for your sector (Protectives - Fire, Police, Military etc)
  • Maintain and develop sector relationships at senior levels to ensure visibility of future customer needs
  • Lead partner and customer relationship management via effective communications (inc. trade shows)
  • Forecast sales effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues to maximise operational efficiencies
  • Research and establish market information and competitor positioning in relevant sectors
Candidate Profile Requirements:
  • Impressive B2B sales career to date in manufactured products sold via partners & agents (inc. export)
  • Clear evidence of developing effective sales plans for relevant products and markets
  • Able to drive profitable sales growth thru partners, maintaining excellent commercial relationships
  • Can understand technical needs and present relevant solutions effectively
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, able to represent a premium brand at all levels
  • Excellent communicator - works collaboratively with colleagues to support and develop the wider business
  • Textiles experience and knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
