Job Description

Many of the famous images that have been used across the world to celebrate Great Britain are made unforgettable through the use of Hainsworthcloth, including the striking scarlet of the Royal Guards, the ceremonial uniforms worn by the Royal Family and the military uniforms worn during the Charge of the Light Brigade.We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Department. In this role you will support the delivery of accurate and timely accounts.You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the financial controller and wider finance department with the processing of accounts.
  • Reviewing aged debtors with explanation.
  • Completing intrastat and national statistic returns on monthly basis.
  • Processing manufacturing commission invoices.
  • Processing manual invoices and credit notes on Sage.
  • Providing purchase ledger cover as required.
  • Supporting admin-post, electronic filing, admin support.
  • Performing month-end tasks and KPI reporting.
Your duties will also include:
  • Monthly and ad hoc journal entry.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Processing and controlling credit card receipts and related add- on.
  • Taking ownership of subsidiary management accounts.
  • Maintenance of detailed Fixed Asset Register.
  • On-site property rental reconciliation and payment schedule.
  • Sales import and reconciliation along-side credit control duties.
  • Monthly prepayments schedules.
  • Ensuring detail work instructions are up to date and available to other team members.
  • Supporting the audit process as required.
  • Assisting in any finance related improvement projects.

  • Demonstrate strong IT skills.

  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills.
