Job Description

We have an excellent position with our client for an experienced Biomedical Team Leader. Your role will be based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. You will help onboard, induct, train and develop a team of Biomed Engineers to ensurecustomer satisfaction and to exceed contract KPIs. Our client offers a great work environment and career progression.Your role a Biomedical Team Leader:

  • Supervise the workload of the team, allocating team members to optimise productivity
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturers guidelines
  • Travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
  • Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturers guidelines
  • Complete associated admin needed to close repairs and PMs as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain safe working practices within the hospital environment
  • Comply with the Quality Assurance and Environmental, Health & Safety policies, and work to maintain a high standard of customer service and protect your health and safety and that of your colleagues, our customers and members of the public. Promptly raiseany concerns regarding potential violations of the policies
  • Maintain spare part stock wherever necessary
  • Directly support the Operational Centre Leader as needed
  • Seek opportunities to grow the business
  • Attend customer meetings when required
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for spare part and contract quotations
The person:
  • Certified OEM training
  • HNC in Electrical Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Qualification in Engineering, electronics or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering.
  • PC literate
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads, prioritising as appropriate
  • Review ways to improve productivity and reduce operating expenditure
  • Ensure data integrity within management systems
  • Excellent customer relationships
  • ONC/OND in a related Engineering discipline
  • Scheduling and completing workload for assigned customers within area
  • Maintaining service documentation in line with business requirements
