TEAM LEADER needed with immediate startOur prestigious leading food producer client, based in Newport, Shropshire, is looking for a team leader who will be supporting a shifts managers mainly with communication between temporary workers.Due to our client needs the person suitable for the position must speak good English and another language, preferably Romanian.£10.00/h Continental shifts:2 days 6am - 6pm, 2 nights 6pm - 6am4 days offDuties include but not limited to:1. To support Shift Managers to organise & communicate effectively to agency employees on daily production activities2. To work as interpreter between management to agency workers3. To coach agency employees on site Health & Safety practices and Good Manufacturing Practices from time to time4. To support agency new starters on site tours and give necessary assistance on their first day arrangements5. To organise agency new starter lockers, PPE and other necessary support6. To work closely with the Training Department to deliver training / briefing to agency employees when required7. To build a good working relationship with Shift Managers and stakeholders8. Flexibility to work on packing lines to suit business needs Skills / Experience required:1. Good level of understanding of both spoken and written English and able to translate2. Able to speak in Romanian / Polish / Bulgarian language3. Able to understand and interpret/deliver reasonable instructions as required by production management from time to time aiding the operation of the business4. Good attention to detail5. Good organisation skills6. Excellent communication skills7. Experience of working within a food manufacturing environment8. Proven basic knowledge of machinery function9. Proven basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety 10. Team management skills to motivate and effectively communicate in order to help the business to promote the Health & Safety, Food Safety & Quality culture11.
