Our client, Staffordshire County Council s looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Looked After Children team.Qualified Social Worker required for large, busy Care Planning and Court Team based in Tamworth. The Team has a reputation for providing high quality support to our Looked After Children, and detailed analytical assessments, reports and evidence to the Courts. You will be responsible for assessments, and statutory responsibilities for Looked after Children.You will have responsibility for assessing and planning for children in the care of the Local Authority whether it be a return home; placement with friends or family; or long term fostering. Children allocated to you will be at a more complex level than those of less experienced workers.The ability to engage and communicate with children is essential and to support children in care to reach their full potential.
