Site ManagerLitchfieldFull time (Mon-Fri) 6.30am-2.30pmLong-termAn exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated and skilled caretaker/facilities manager to join a Primary School based in Litchfield, Birmingham.The role of a site Manager is a crucial role and is essential to the smooth running of the school. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of School and School Business Manager to ensure pupils, staff, governors and visitors are able to workin a welcoming, clean and safe environment.The successful candidate will:- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to get one via Reed Education- Have pride in your work and a desire to make a difference- Be driven to ensuring a clean, safe working environment for children, staff and visitors- Have a strong understanding of health and safety processesAs a caretaker, you will on a daily basis:- Ensure health and safety obligation are met and manage statutory compliance for the premises using every system- Lock/Unlock the school and carry out security checks on the building- Lead the cleaning team to ensure the school remains clean, tidy and always safe to be open- Ensure the site is always clean and free from litter inside and outside- Undertake cleaning duties to support your team- Provide maintenance and repairs on site indoors and outdoors- Monitor stock, order supplies and handle/move deliveries- Manage the supply chain of cleaning products- Contacting and supporting contractors on site- Ensuring that all contractual obligations are achieved on a monthly or annual basis- Build relationships, working closely with the school business manager and Head of school to ensure the schools needs are metWhy work for Reed Education:- 24/7 consultant available as and when required- Great referral schemerecommend a friend and earn up to £100 vouchers- Full interview preparation and assistant- Help with lesson planning- Online portal for your timesheets and log your availability- Competitive ratesIf you are interested in applying for this role and would like to be put forward, please do send your CV over to Reed Education, Birmingham.
