Do you have experience of bioprocessing within a GMP environment Are you looking for a new challenge with an international and rapidly growing Biotech business Our client are a global pharmaceutical manufacturing and testing company who have expanded exponentially over the last few years. They pride themselves on producing industry leading biologics to make a difference and help patients. They are now looking torecruit a Senior Scientist to join their bioprocessing team.The suitable individual will be responsible for viral vector production, utilising mammalian cell culturing and transient transfection. You will also assist the transfer of processes within GMP regulations and work across the team and other areas of thebusiness. You will be integral to supporting the wider business with recommendations and assistance for scale up. Training of less experienced members of staff will also play a large part of the role as will the writing of company SOPs and documentation tofurther improve processes.To be considered for the role you will be significantly experienced working across upstream processing within a biotechnology environment particularly with a focus on viral vectors. You will have an academic background in a relevant discipline i.e. virology,cell biology or biochemistry and have a number of years experience working in an industrial setting. Good working knowledge of virus purification and analytical characterisation is also highly beneficial. You should be well organised with a strong abilityto plan and prioritise in order to successfully manage complex projects.
