Senior Building Manager (Facilities Management)Stafford, Parker Court - Covering Group WideSalary: £42,448 (Plus Essential Car Allowance)PermanentFull time, 37 hours per weekClosing date: 28th October 2020Interview date: 10th November 2020 - Interviews will take place on MS Teams.Are you looking for a new challengeOur client have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Building Manager to join them within their Client Services department.You will have day to day accountability and responsibility for the delivery of hard & soft services, building management and compliance programmes to the Groups’ full portfolio of stock and in particular for Care Homes, Retirement Living, Commercial and Office Hub locations within the group portfolio.Job requirements

  • Lead accountability and responsibility for the effective on site delivery, management and compliance of the Groups’ statutory and contractual obligations throughout its portfolio of stock with within an assigned property portfolio of the Groups most complex and higher risk assets. Ensure that programmes for the forthcoming year consider budget and risks and is presented to the Board for approval.
  • Line management responsibility for two Building Managers (direct reports) to deliver the direct contractual relationships with service providers (internally and externally) in line with agreed contracts and KPI’s for the remainder of the Groups asset portfolio
  • Lead accountability of the repair, maintenance and general Health and Safety requirements and more specifically of those relating to statutory and legal compliance obligations including but not restricted to Gas, Asbestos, Water Hygiene, Lifting, Fire safety & electrical safety standards, regulations and codes of practise for buildings within your portfolio
  • Work collaboratively with compliance lead specialist colleagues within property directorate
    • What our client are looking for:
  • Holder of IWFM qualification or strong operational FM experience
  • Holder of Nebosh General certificate in H&S at work or equivalent
  • Detailed knowledge of ACOP L8 - Legionnaires disease. The control of legionella bacteria in water systems and experience of implementing and managing control policies, procedures and process to conform to the ACOP.
  • Detailed knowledge of LOLER & PUWER Regulations and experience of implementing and managing control policies, procedures and process to conform to the Regs.
