Job Description

Quality Assurance Specialist - October 2022 As a key member of the quality team, the role of the QA Specialist is to co-ordinate quality assurance activities with specific attention to nonconformities, complaints, corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) duties.

  • Coordinate CAPA activities including documenting, investigating and reporting of customer complaints, feedback and internal nonconformities
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (e.g. scrap, rework, regrade, concessions, deviations)
  • Coordinate field safety corrective actions
  • Assist with risk management reviews for product and processes
  • Collect, analyse and trend QMS data
  • Resource for quality and regulatory audits
  • Provide general support for activities falling under the remit of the Quality Assurance Manager
Candidates must have:
  • Qualification equivalent to a HND in a scientific discipline OR 3+ years experience in a Quality/ Manufacturing/ Root Cause Analysis role (ideally within the medical devices or Pharmaceutical role).
  • A working knowledge of basic quality principles.
  • Great organizational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills across all business stakeholders (both internal and external).
  • Driving license and own transport (Own transport desired as the role may take you to either site within the Stoke on Trent area)
