We are currently looking for a QC Team Leader to join a leading biologics company based in the Staffordshire area. As the QC Team Leader you will be responsible for leading a team of QC Analytical Scientists.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the QC Team Leader will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will line manage a team of analytical scientists and be accountable for the scheduling, management and execution of analytical support and testing. 2. As the QC Team Leader you will be responsible for method transfer within the company or externally as well as for method qualification/validation.3. You will also work directly with internal and external customers to ensure full on time delivery including all management of all supporting quality documentation. 4. A further responsibility of the QC Team Leader will be to establish 5S in labs through the utilisation of multidisciplinary teams and a high level of communication. You will actively identify, initiate and manage process improvements to drive efficiency and capacity growth. ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Team Leader we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant degree in a Life Sciences related discipline plus industry experience.2. Proven industry experience within a Quality Control department and some assay development.3. A working knowledge and practical experience in setting up and working in labs performing GMP analysis of commercial products.
