Mechanical and Electrical Multiskilled Operative £30 - £35k. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 0800-1630hrs with occasional callouts. As a Mechanical and Electrical Multiskilled Operative you will be part of the busy maintenance team to performelectrical and mechanical maintenance and repair duties in a heavy industrial environment. Reporting to the Site Electrical Engineer and Maintenance Manager, The Mechanical and Electrical Multiskilled Operative will be you will be required to undertake plannedand reactive maintenance on a wide range of plant, machinery, and site facilities. Primary ResponsibilitiesReactive and planned maintenance work on Electrical and mechanical on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, crushers, furnaces and more Basic fault finding and repair of motors, inverters, contactors, sensors, relays etc Changing bearings, housing, and motors Single-phase, three-phase and 24 VDC electrical fault find and repair on sockets, lighting, armoured cable, distribution boards, panels wiring repair Welding and fabricating when required Assist in new installations and support the wider maintenance team on tasks within your capability. Ensure adherence to/compliance with company policies, rules and regulations relating to safety/health, performance standards, procedures, processes, and training requirements Person SpecificationRecognised engineering, mechanical, or electrical qualification Qualified Electrical Installer Electrical Engineering Qualification such as 17th/18th Edition Cert or Min NVQ Level 3 Demonstrable fault-finding experience Previous experience in maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing environment. Time-served/experienced within a manufacturing (medium to heavy) or process driven environment Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment CompetenciesPositive and professional attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Flexible approach to getting things done with independent decision-making abilities Excellent interpersonal skills to work with minimal supervision and guidance Ability to effectively plan, organise and prioritise projects Strong team player with good written and spoken communication skillsTo apply send your CV to / Call steve or Click to apply
