SF Recruitment are excited to be working with a fantastic business based in Staffordshire, our confidential client is a highly successful wholesale / distribution group and the largest of their type in the UK. The Business is looking for a driven and motivated ACA or ACCA Qualified professional to join them as M&A Finance Manager on a permanent basis. The Business in question is renowned for high quality and impeccable service. With fantastic growth plans this is a very exciting business to be a part of. They have a particularly successful business model and supply a diverse range of industries from their multi-site network of distribution centres. Operating in a competitive market, they deliver annual revenues of £300m+ and their strategy is to empower businessleaders to develop their businesses by offering genuine autonomy and encouraging ownership and accountability. Deliverables - Producing valuations on potential or identified target businesses. - Obtaining and analysing management information to ensure such valuations are accurate and include necessary adjustments to EBITDA/net assets. - Presenting findings to the internal acquisitions team, which includes senior staff from multiple disciplines. - Carrying out the finance due diligence process. - Assisting with the review of completion accounts and earnout accounts. - Carrying out the financial onboarding process of newly acquired companies, providing hands on guidance and assistance with, for example: alignment of reporting; introduction of group accounting policies; assessment and implementation of financial controls. - Working on systems conversions / integrations with acquired businesses and staff across multiple disciplines (e.g. IT) - Carrying out analysis and research to aid the identification of potential opportunities/targets. - Carrying out benchmarking exercises against existing businesses. Profile - High level of analytical and numerical literacy - Ability to manage multiple work streams, prioritising as necessary. - Be a team player with an approachable but professional manner. - Able to work independently with confidence. - Ability to communicate and present findings to senior levels of staff from multiple disciplines, both in written and oral form - Willingness to take ownership and go the extra mile to achieve results My client is seeking to recruit this role as soon as possible with the position currently vacant, if you interested then please get in touch with Luke Selibas right away;
