Job Description

Red Snapper Justice are part of a niche recruitment agency, who provide staffing services to the offender management and criminal justice sectors.We are recruiting on behalf of our Staffordshire based client looking for Criminal Justice Workshop Facilitator. The post holder will be responsible for delivering daily workshops to identified cohorts of young men within the prison regime. Delivery willbe creative, fun, and thought-provoking covering topics such as; Gangs, Race and Identity, Youth Violence, father deficit, conflict resolution etc. This role will be the first of its kind within this establishment, which allows the chosen candidate to be verycreative whilst achieving the desired outcomes.This role is full time, Monday - Friday, on a permanent contract.The salary offered is £20,589 - £25,313 per annum dependant on experience.Main Duties

  • Training identified prisoners to support delivery of workshops
  • Delivering small grouped and 121 workshops
  • Work collaboratively with prison staff as well as partner agencies
  • Plan and prepare bespoke workshops in line with the Want2Achieve portfolio
  • Being able to build constructive and effective relationships
Essential Requirements
  • GCSEs English and Mathematics - Grade C or above.
  • Demonstrable ability to use Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook, access, teams), databases and other virtual platforms
  • Experiencing of working within a similar role.
  • Experience of delivering/achieving against a specification and performance targets.
  • Able to exercise initiative and prioritize duties accordingly
  • Able to work to a high standard against agreed timescales with limited supervision
