As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and eager Buyer. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual witha strong background in procurement team leadership. A successful candidate will play a crucial part in the continued success of the tactile buying teamWhat youll be doing:- Collaborating with and supporting a team of 6 buyers. - Acting as a second in command to the purchasing manager. - Lead on a multitude of project based procurement strategies. - Act as point of contact for any escalation queries. - Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and product availability.- Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.- Analyse and optimise procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.- Stay abreast of relevant regulations and compliance requirements within the electrical procurement domain.What youll bring to the table:- Proven and demonstrable experience within a procurement function or Purchasing. - Proven experience managing a procurement team.- Excellent communication skills.- Unmatched analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Great interpersonal skills. - A dynamic and go-getter personality- Proficiency in procurement software (Ideally SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.What we can offer you:- Competitive salary banding of £52,000 - £60,000 per annum- Early Friday finish- Health and wellness programs- Onsite gym- Professional development opportunities, including CIPS qualifications- Company-sponsored events- Additional training- Free onsite parking- other miscellaneous benefitsInterestedIf youre interested in applying for this role send in your CV and well get back to you as soon as possible.
