The welfare of our people is of paramount importance to us, and were doing everything we can to keep our employees and customers safe during this time.Transport Planning OpportunitiesWe are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Transport Planner to undertake option identification and initial assessment of potential schemes across the UK. You should have a good understanding and experience of undertake option assessments and the appraisal of the economic, financial and environmental impacts of proposed schemes.You will be part of a team creating and developing options with subsequent traffic modelling and economic assessment of a number of potential solutions to a transport problem. The team will be carry out a variety of online and public events at which the public will be consulted and their views on the potential options taken into account. The resulting robust traffic assessment will identify if the scheme will work now and in the future, assess whether the proposed solution will mitigate an identified problem and whether there are any consequential impacts, for example on the environment, prior to confirming the preferred option.In summary, proven skills in some or all of the following are sought:
