Job Description

Review SPC data and highlighting any potential issues on a daily basis. Support the manufacturing team with process control and trouble shooting.Key Responsibilities

  • Support the process team in all areas as required.
  • Highlight any impacts on production to the manufacturing manager.
  • Day to Day responsibility for reviewing the Characterization and Production SPC data and highlighting any potential problems to the relevant Engineer if any OOS occurrence has taken place.
  • Monitoring and driving SPC improvement program
  • Liaising with other teams (Equipment, Manufacturing and Sales) to ensure production and Qualifications are completed in a timely manner to the required specifications ensuring the customer is delivered a quality product.
  • Performing Standard Silicon Qualifications from start to finishECNP to CofC.
  • Checking of production CofC and producing CofCs as and when required.
  • Able to perform measurements and have a thorough understanding and potential problems of all characterization tools both within IQE Silicon and relevant tool at IQE Europe (SEM, Film expert etc.).
  • Produce clear plans to run qualifications / problem solving for the Technicians to follow during the day and evening as required.
  • Support any Engineering plan as and when required, reviewing the data and implement further plans as required.
  • To be part of problem-solving teams and quality improvement activities, using 4D, 8D techniques and FMEA.
  • Support with all administrative actions within the process team.
  • Prioritize work as required to ensure the daily tasks are completed, inform Process Manager if any potential delays will occur.
  • Adhere to the cleanroom protocols and adopt 5S principles for the area.
  • Be part of the FMEA team
  • Adhering to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines & procedures.
Qualifications / Essential Skills
  • Graduate in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Experience in Si processing would also be desirable.
