The more diverse we are, the more experiences we have to draw upon.Purpose of the role Founded in 2020, the IP department is ready to grow to provide full-service IP support to the business from technology inception to product launch and beyond; are youWe are seeking a Chartered and/or European patent attorney to join the small in-house team at IQE. The successful candidate can expect a wide-ranging and challenging set of tasks and responsibilities supporting fascinating technology. From harvesting innovationto conducting risk and opportunity analysis, from inspiring first time inventors to developing and implementing IP strategy we are an integral part of the company which increasingly recognises and values its IP. There are opportunities for personal and professionalgrowth through the role. Hybrid working available with occasional business travel.Key Responsibilities

• Harvest innovation
• Draft, file and prosecute original applications in GB and EP
• Oversee and coordinate foreign agents prosecution of corresponding applications
• Manage own deadlines and maintain record system accuracy
• Analyse risks and opportunities from 3^rd party portfolios in key technology areas
• IP analysis and advice to support technology development and new product introduction projects
• Conduct portfolio business case reviews
• Coordinate inventor recognition policy

Qualifications / Essential Skills

• Chartered and/or European patent attorney with 0-3 years PQE
• In-house experience preferred
• Semiconductor experience beneficial
• Trademark qualification or experience advantageous
• Able and willing to engage across the organization to promote IP
• Excited by new challenges
• Attention to detail in related admin tasks
