Job Description

3 week rotating shift pattern: days, afternoons and nights.Our StoryIQE plc is the leading global supplier of advanced wafer products and material solutions to the semiconductor industry.   • Ensure effective scheduling of production area.
  • Improve utilisation/yield performance of reactors when and where possible
  • Ensure that specifications are achieved at all time
  • Initiate trouble shooting using OCAP when required
  • Support shipping team with packing activity
  • Assist process team with growth, cleans and characterisation requirement
  • To ensure wafers are processed in accordance with manufacturing specifications to the quality standards laid down
  • To assist with engineering experiments following laid down plans of action
  • Ensuring day to day production targets are achieved in line with an overall monthly plan
  • To perform all necessary operations throughout the manufacturing flow
  • To be able to operate all or most of the equipment in the cleanroom
  • To assist maintenance staff in gas bottle changes and intrusive reactor issues as and when required
  • To help with the packing of production prior shipping
Qualifications / Essential SkillsQualification in a scientific or engineering discipline (GCSE) and /or experience in a similar role within semiconductor technology industry.Must be over the age of 18 due to legislation of the shift pattern.
