As our next Manufacturing Engineering Paint Graduate, you’ll be a valued member of our Manufacturing Engineering Paint team. You and the team will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the painted body and paint shop facility across Aston Martinsmultiple sites. As part of your role, the team and you will deliver robust processes, quality improvements, and new model introduction.This role will require you to work both extensively on the shop floor and an element of desk-based, focusing on process and quality control. Therefore, this role requires someone who has an interest in working on the shop floor. You’ll be assigned a mentorwho will support, train, and guide you to become trained within paint.In this role, you will be responsible to support paint robot programming activities. Youll be involved in various projects, such as updating the facilities manual and checklist for New Model introduction, Paint SVO and Graphics area setup, and Robot paintApplication improvements/problem-solving. You’ll be focusing on AME and CME with the opportunity to commission the facility for new models. You’ll be accountable for quality control, analyse data collected from the painted cars, making necessary adjustmentswith the support of your team.Youre not the type to shy away from responsibility or where you wont have the opportunity to make a significant impact.
