Job Description

Meridian business Support have a fantastic opportunity within our award winningOnsiteDivisiontojoin us & develop as a Temp Coordinator.The role of a Temp Coordinator is to support the agency, shift managers and wider team in the supporting our temporary workforce. This includes; welcoming and onboarding new temporary staff, providing training, ensuring policy and processadherence and answering day to day queries. You will also be expected to comply with Food Safety Regulations andour clientsquality standards, and adhere to, and uphold strict Health and Safety standards at all times.

  • Salary:£22,000 per annum
  • Permanant Role with progression opportunity
  • Working Hours:07:00 -19:00
  • Working Pattern:Friday - Monday
Key responsibilities
  • Welcome new starters at beginning of their shifts and complete induction refresher including manual handling and gowning up procedure
  • Provide ongoing training and support and ensure training is adhered to
  • Support Line Leaders with performance concerns
  • Attend pre-shift briefing with SMs & LLs to understand the plan for the shift
  • Supportthe client in monitoring attendance and managing shift ramp up / ramp down / check in
  • Ensure staff have returned to the correct line at start of shift and after breaks
  • Answer day to day queries from temp workforce
  • Complete end of shift feedback sessions and deliver to shift managers and HR
  • Escalate any concerns raised by temp staff to shift managers, consultants and HR where necessary
  • Foster a positive workplace culture, but leading from the front; demonstrating best practice in packing and safety standards
  • Complete Return To Work meetings as required with temporary workers
  • Complete checks of work areas and ensure all temporary workers have the correct PPE prior to going onto the production floor
  • Accurately completing timesheets on a daily basis for the previous day, along with ensuring all workers are correctly using the TMS system / access control system
The successful candidate
  • Customer service experience is essential
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Have drive and ambition to succeed
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Team player
