Bicycle Builder / Workshop MechanicLocation: DerbySalary: Competitive plus excellent benefitsA well-rounded, forward-thinking, friendly, independent and a modern bike shop in Derby has a fabulous opening for a full time, part time or a permanent Bicycle Builder / Workshop Mechanic. Salary is competitive plus excellent benefits.The Job Role:You will be building bicycles for stocks, cycle repairs and servicing of all type of bikes, packaging of bikes on internet sale, PDI for all new and outgoing bikes.Skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Ability to use, repair, and maintain machines and tools
  • Thorough understanding of bicycle building and mechanics
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to work well with hands
  • Good time management, ability to remain calm under pressure and happy working as part of a team
  • Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
  • Excellent customer service skills, an active interest in cycling and previous retail experience are preferred, however.
