SCC - Specialist Computer Centres is the leading IT services organisation in Europe.We have been established for over 40 years and have a turnover in excess of £3 billion.Our business continues to grow creating a real career opportunity for a Warehouse Stores Operative based in Birmingham.Overall Job Purpose:The Prime role of the Warehouse Operative (Stores) is to book in Purchase Orders, to run pick reports and pick parts to pass to the appropriate location (usually workshop or despatch), to book in UNUS parts/products and to carry out PI checks when appropriateMain Duties of the Job: To provide a professional service within the Warehouse / Stores area at all times. Process all parts / products on the associated call and that each part of the process is correct Unload and load vehicles in a safe and timely manner Process any and all parts to the correct department efficiently Be dressed in the supplied company uniform / PPE at all times. To adhere to all health and safety procedures. Answer all phones and emails in a timely manner. To learn any software or program necessary to perform his duties in the Warehouse Be computer literate on all screens / processes involved with a stores role. Report any problems to the Senior Storemen , Team leader or Manager. Work within a team or on own initiative for the best outcome on a daily basis To carry out any other tasks as requested by PeersSkills, Knowledge and Experience Attend all training courses deemed necessary to perform your daily duties (online and systematically. Adhere to all health and safety process at all time. Attend all meetings required to do with the Warehouse role Deal with all enquiries either by phone or email in a professional manner Be able to work in all areas of the business if instructed to do so by the Senior Storeman Team Leader or Management Must be wearing the company supplied uniform at all times and any PPE in use withinspecific Departments.Addition Responsibilities - working to help retain the following standards:-ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification by ensuring that all areas of responsibility adhere to the appropriate policies and procedures. Responsible for Quality Management System ensuring all procedures and processes are adhered to and remain compliant. Oversee improvements to the Quality Management System by amending/modifying procedures as and when operational procedures change within the business. Ensure that all corrective action, with regard to the Quality Management System is executed in a professional and timely manner.ISO14001 Environmental Management System certification by ensuring that all areas of responsibility adhere to the appropriate policies and procedures. Oversee improvements to the Environmental Management System by amending/modifying procedures as and when operational procedures change within the business. Ensure that all corrective action, with regard to the Environmental Management System, is executed in a professional and timely manner. Adhering to I.T. Services Management.ISO 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Specification certification by ensuring all areas of responsibility adhere to the appropriate policies and procedures. Responsible for H&S, ensuring all procedures and process are adhered to and compliant Oversee improvements to the OHSAS System by amending/modifying procedures as and when operational procedures change within the business. Ensure that all corrective action, with regard to the OHSAS is executed in a professional and timely manner.ISO 20001 IT Services Management certification by ensuring that all areas of responsibility adhere to the appropriate policies and procedures. Responsible for IT Services Management ensuring all procedures and processes are adhered to and remain compliant. Oversee improvements to the IT Services Management System by amending/modifying procedures as and when operational procedures change within the business. Ensure that all corrective action, with regard to the IT Services Management System is executed in a professional and timely manner.Adhering to Information Security System.ISO 27001 Information Security System certification by ensuring that all areas of responsibility adhere to the appropriate policies and procedures. Responsible for Information Security System ensuring all procedures and processes are adhered to and remain compliant. Oversee improvements to the Information Security System by amending/modifying procedures as and when operational procedures change within the business.
