SCC - Specialist Computer Centres is the leading IT services organisation in Europe.We have been established for over 40 years and have a turnover in excess of £3 billion.Our business continues to grow creating a real career opportunity for a ITAM Analyst Apprentice based in Birmingham, Bracknell and London.Role PurposeThe ITAM Analyst will play an important role in the delivery of SCCs Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) services to our clients, combining project delivery and administrative support within the Cloud & Software Lifecycle (CSL) ServiceDelivery Team.This role provides support to the CSL Team, assisting in delivery of SCCs hosted Snow Software SAM/ITAM Solution and identification of saving opportunities for our customers.Principal AccountabilitiesThe role is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of administrative support tasks;- Set up new customers within the delivery management system- Data uploads to SAM portal- Report extraction and delivery to customers- Respond to customer requests via telephone and email, within contractual SLAs- Work with external suppliers and internal departments- Provide other administrative support as required- Adhere to strict deadlines and priorities where required.- Work towards obtaining licensing vendor certifications as required e.g. MicrosoftThe role is required to attend multiple training sessions delivered by Snow Software, online or at Snow Softwares UK office, as well as in-house training and development. Upon completion of training and personal development, this role will be responsiblefor delivering 1st line technical support (via telephone, email and web conferencing) with escalation to 2nd line support within Civica and Snow as required.Reporting Relationships Report to Head of Service DeliveryEssential Competencies Computer literate and familiar with IT Educated to A-Level standard or higher Worked in an office environment previously Good Excel skills, MS Outlook/Word knowledge Articulate and numerate, with great attention to detail and strong communication skills.
