HR Advisor | Nottingham | Salary £28,000 - £32,500 | Flexibleworking hoursCherry Professional are currently working with a Nottingham based organisation to recruit aHR Advisoron a permanent basis. You will be working for an established, fast-growing engineering and manufacturing company.This is a standalone role and you will be supporting and advising managers and employees on a range of employee relations and HR-related issues. This is a generalist HR role and you will be supporting the HR Manager and the wider business.Key ResponsibilitiesToprovide an HR advisory service with absence, health issues, conduct and capability, grievance, recruitment, organisational change and the range of employment and employee relations matters.To manageemployee relationscases including attending disciplinary, grievance, investigatory and appeal meetings.To support the line managers with restructures and change initiatives, including the implementation and maintaining of the Employee Life Cycle.To manage the sickness absence cases working closely with Occupational Health.You will support with therecruitmentprocess for the organisation.To produce contractual documentation in relation to appointments, termination and variations of employment.You will need to update and maintain manual and computerised HR and Payroll information.Toproduce reports on HR metrics and to makerecommendations for implementing sound business decisions to support organisational improvement.Toupdate HR policies and proceduresto ensure that reflects key legislation and best practice.To assist in the delivery of HR related training and/or awareness workshops.You will be coaching and advising managers onorganisational developmentrelating to HR including restructures,TUPE transfersand change initiatives.Desirable skills and experienceCIPD level 5 qualified.Experience in Employee relations, advising and guiding Managers and employees.Good understanding of Employment legislations and practical application.Experience insupporting change initiatives.Ability to work independently and on own initiative.Able to identify and deal with a range of sensitive human resources issues.Excellent organisational skills.Ability to influence managers using appropriate coaching and advisory skills.Whats on offerSalary of £28,000 - £32, 000 depending on experience.Company pension.Medical cover.25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.Other roles you may have applied for:HR Advisor, Hr Officer, Senior HR Advisor, HR Generalist or Human Resource Advisor.Cherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
