Job Description

Reporting into the Facilities Manager andProperty Operations Manager, youll work witha small, dedicated staff team and wider volunteer support.The Workhouse and Infirmary is a unique National Trust property focussing on the social history of the poor, giving a voice to their stories and experiences. It is a complex place that challenges us to reconsider how we care for all in our communities today.With so many connections to important contemporary questions surrounding welfare and inequality, it is an exciting time to be joining the team.For more information about our property please visit our page here. What youll be doing As the Facilities Co-ordinator, youll be responsible for supporting the delivery of an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service, to enable the successful operation of the property. Youll support the Team to meet itss objectives, by ensuringhigh standards are delivered and maintained at all times. You will be assisting with the organisation of planned, preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs, and also assisting the Team to remain compliant with their Health and Safety, amongst otherthings. Wed love to hear from you if you have;

  • Experience in a Facilities role in a customer service environment
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and work in collaboration with other departments
  • Ability to work well in a Team
  • Flexible, customer focussed approach with understanding of good customer service standards
  • Good IT skills(Microsoft Office)
