Job Description

With a turnover of £450m and 50,000 homes under management, Hyde provides services to more than 100,000 customers We are proudof our reputation for innovation.Th Agile Technical Programme Manager is responsible for providing end-to-end program management leadership in support of the delivery of complex business and technical solutions in line with Hydes strategic objectives.Role Overview

  • Provide leadership and guidance to oversee Programme wide release planning, facilitating Scrum of Scrums, Program Sync Ups and Roadmap delivery
  • Lead and support multiple Agile Project streams in a fast-paced environment by maintaining consistency of output and alignment of iteration and release goals to achieve the overall organisational vision.
  • Responsible for providing leadership and guidance in support of the delivery of business led initiatives, combining traditional delivery principles and practices with an Agile development and delivery approach.
  • Provide leadership and management to project managers and motivate project groups to work in an agile environment.
  • Enable the teams to complete assigned tasks and combine project management practices with agile development requirements.
  • Support the businesss process management by reaching across the business to get the status of work completed and assist with utilising agile methods as needed and assist in removing and overcoming obstacles in support of the team.
  • Manage the performance and output for major programmes of work; holding teams accountable for their commitments; helping resolve roadblocks.
  • Supporting the Agile Delivery Managers to define business requirement scope and schedule while focusing the teams on regular and timely delivery of value; organise and lead status and working meetings; own reporting and governance compliance; manage risksand issues; correct deviations from plan and own delivery planning and budget management.
  • Promote cross business collaboration to deliver digital-enabled ways of working.
  • Own the relationship with 3rd party vendors driving delivery as well as adherence to CICD and Agile delivery processes and principles.
  • Ensure all the cross-functional teams involved in the complex delivery of the programmes succeed; make sure each member of the delivery team is fully engaged to maintain a sustainable level of pace.
  • Manage multiple deliveries / programmes of varying dimensions - technical complexity, Business areas, 3rd Party vendors.
  • Own the end to end Delivery lifecycle.
