Work With Aptitude have partnered with an excting, VC backed start up - who are looking for an experinced Java SDET to come on board and join their rapidly growing team.You will be working in a low latency environemnt, where peromance is key.There is a full regression suite in place and they need someone to be the gatekeeper for production releases.Everything is built in Java, with junit and serenity being used for reports and eevrything is run on team city.Familiarity with the usual frameworks such as Selenium is essential.This role will require a good level of Java coding knowledge- please do not apply if you cannot understand and crucially write Java code!Role & Responsibilities You will be responsible for developing the Testing strategy for our platform and to implement strategies toidentify and prevent issues in production. Provide hands on quality assurance leveraging automation best practices. Develop automated scripts, monitor defects and perform testing. Produce clear bug reports from testing with descriptions to reproduce the issue.Requirements Degree Computer Science, Maths, Physics or other numerate subject, or relevant experience. Experiencein online mobile advertising is a plus. Knowledge of backend Test Automation Frameworks including JUnit. 4+ years experience as an SDET Engineer with a focus on backend testing. Good communicator who can explain and understand complex systems while dealing with bothnon-technical and technical teams. A focus on details and willingness to learn. Our office is based in London, UK. However this role can be done remotely.
