Job Description

I am looking for a proactive PSO to support a PMO in providing a comprehensive and professional programme and project management service to all appropriate stakeholders in order to facilitate the successful delivery of a Change Programme.PSO Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the PMO in the implementation and maintenance of a robust programme and project management framework.
  • Monitoring the risks and issues register and escalations and following up actions.
  • Overseeing and monitoring consistent document management standards across the programme.
  • Assessing and evaluating information received from projects from a range of reporting sources
  • Assisting the PMO with drafting documentation and reports, and preparing procedure and guidance documentation.
  • Identifying and resolving operational problems, escalating more complex and difficult issues upwards to relevant members of the programme team.
  • Providing support and guidance to project leads and other staff involved in the implementation of Change Programme.
  • PSO Requirements:
  • Detailed understanding of programme management offices and their services, (e.g. risk management, reporting and change control).
  • Skilled in the Microsoft office suite (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and Teams
  • Ability to be innovative, learn and share good practise in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong planning skills and ability to prioritise work.
  • A strong communicator, able to communicate messages clearly to a range of audiences at all levels and build productive working relationships quickly.
