Job Description

4Recruitment Services are seeking a Housing Disrepair Coordinator to assist our housing association client.Our client owns and manages more than 100,000 homes across London and surrounding counties. The client aims to provide continuous improvement, and finding better and more efficient ways to deliver excellent services and respond to the challenges the housingsector presents.The Housing Disrepair Coordinator will manager cases from an administration perspective. Managing the email inbox, coordination of repairs, speak to residents, surveyors and contractors.The wider Repairs Team is responsible for the delivery of all property services including:

  • Day-to-day responsive and major repairs
  • Disrepair; damp, mould & condensation; EHO and escalated cases
  • Empty Homes / Voids
  • Aids & adaptions
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance and proactive case management
  • Service delivery for repairs managed through the DPS Marketplace
  • Planning for the in-house DLO
  • Professional property related services
This role will suit someone from a repairs, coordinator, case management background. Knowledge of disrepair would be ideal but it is not essential.The coordinator will required to attended the office 2 days a week. (There will be initial 1 - 2 weeks training in one of the offices Southwark in London or Pitsea in Essex)ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously, moving from one task to another quickly;
  • Able to deal with a range of difficult problems and resolve these to the customers satisfaction, exploring alternatives options to resolve the problem;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets;
  • Demonstrable experience in a role which has required good admin skills, including keyboard, telephone, IT and experience of working with databases;
  • Experience of raising, monitoring and recording work orders though a relevant housing / repair management system;
  • Experience in dealing with a wide range of people including clients, staff, contractors and external agencies;
  • Experienced IT skills which must include a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • Experience in diary management and appointment scheduling;
