Job Description

Want to make a difference in the lives of those who may have experienced domestic abuseThe Ealing Domestic Abuse Floating Support Service is funded to provide high quality floating support to 20+ adults experiencing standard or medium risk abuse or who have experienced domestic abuse. You would be working with a dynamic team of domestic abuse professionals to support and empower those who may have experienced domestic abuse.We offer genuine career progression with over a quarter of our vacancies having been offered internally last year.   • Experience of working with people with a range of different support needs, aspirations for their future and associated risks.
  • Experience of delivering high quality floating/outreach support services to people with a range of needs and risks.
  • Good knowledge of welfare benefits and housing options and legislation related to statutory duty.
  • Good understanding of the range of issues, diagnoses and treatment relevant to the client group including mental health and substance misuse.
  • Ability to liaise with external professionals to inform and develop Service Users’ support package
  • Ability to travel throughout the Borough of operation.
  • Previous experience of using computer-based systems to accurately record work and client details
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately
